Kubernetes IT Administrator (m/f/d) for Data Center

We are looking for further support in the area of IT Administration and Data Center at the Erfurt location as soon as possible.

Tasks

• Responsibility for the planning, implementation, configuration, and administration of Suse Rancher and Suse Rancher Prime clusters in production environments, including load balancers, image registry, and storage connection
• Ensuring the availability, scalability, and reliability of applications in containerized environments
• Implementation of security policies and ensuring the secure operation of Suse Rancher clusters
• Collaboration with software developers to support the deployment of applications in Suse Rancher
• Design and implementation of monitoring and surveillance solutions for our software components
• Administration of bare-metal AI servers based on Nvidia

Qualifications

• Experience in the administration of Suse Rancher or Kubernetes solutions
• Experience in the administration of SLES or Ubuntu servers
• Experience in creating Helm charts for Kubernetes or Suse Rancher
• Sound knowledge in container orchestration and automation
• Experience with the implementation of security policies and practices in Suse Rancher or Kubernetes
• Knowledge in the automation of deployment processes (e.g., with Ansible, Terraform)
• Optional but helpful knowledge: Ceph Storage, S3, CI/CD Pipelines, Git, HA Proxy or other load balancers, Docker and similar
• Administration of current Nvidia GPUs, e.g., H200 or RTX 6000
