Credit Analyst (m/w/d)

We are looking for a seasoned Credit Analyst (m/w/d) at our client, an international bank, located in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, in an unlimited term of employment.

Tasks

Credit Analysis

• Analysis of the creditworthiness of customers using quantitative and qualitative factors
• Conducting rating tests and updating ratings for international corporate clients
• Preparation of a credit analysis report and presentation for the Credit Committee
• Preliminary preparation of meetings for the Credit Committee and creation of meeting protocols

Credit Management

• Verification of suspensive conditions for loan disbursement
• Monitoring existing customers/engagements according to internal and external rules
• Reporting large exposures and loans above 1 million EUR to the Deutsche Bundesbank, including management of customer data ("Stammdaten")
• Management of pledged credits for refinancing at the Federal Bank ("MACCS")
• Risk reports to local management and central office
• Creating and managing credit files (in paper form and digitally)
• Supporting Corporate Banking and Operations in credit-related matters

Qualification

• SUCCESSFUL completion of a degree in economics, finance, or banking
• Multiple years of professional experience in the front office, middle office, or risk management at commercial banks
• Good knowledge of credit analysis, evaluation, and risk analysis for corporate clients
• Professional experience in credit restructuring/NPL
• Knowledge of financial, economic, and accounting standards
• Knowledge of banking supervisory regulations in Germany (e.g., Kreditwesengesetz, MaRisk)
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Fluent German and English skills
