About the Project

Our client is one of the three largest Polish universal banks, as well as one of the largest financial institutions in Central and Eastern Europe. It was the first Polish bank to launch an ATM and issue a credit card.

About the Project

The project is being carried out as part of a strategic program for the development of modern electronic banking for corporate clients. Its goal is to create a secure, intuitive, and scalable platform that will streamline the daily financial management of enterprises and provide convenient access to banking services. The solutions being developed include, among others, account management, payment execution, user rights management, multi-level transaction authorization, financial reporting, and integration with clients' financial and accounting systems. Key aspects of the program are security, regulatory compliance, high software quality, and system reliability. Recruitment is for a long-term program covering several related projects, the common goal of which is the development of digital banking services for business clients.

Cooperation Model

Services are provided in a hybrid model - an average of 1 day per week from the client's office (Warsaw, Lodz, Gdansk, Wroclaw, Poznan, Krakow, Lublin, and Szczecin)

Your Responsibilities

• Defining and developing the architecture of Kotlin Multiplatform solutions, taking into account business requirements, security, and performance
• Developing a code sharing strategy and defining boundaries between common and native modules
• Designing the structure of modules, contracts, dependencies, and integrations with Android and iOS applications
• Defining the approach to the user interface, state management, and navigation using Compose Multiplatform and native solutions
• Selecting technologies and libraries, documenting architectural decisions, and verifying solutions through prototypes
• Designing communication with the backend, error handling, data synchronization and storage, and user session management
• Agreeing on solutions with corporate architects, backend teams, and security teams, taking into account the bank's regulatory requirements
• Defining quality standards, conducting architecture reviews and code reviews, and defining testing strategies
• Implementing key shared components and solving complex technical problems
• Co-creating standards for building, versioning, publishing, and delivering KMP applications and modules in CI/CD processes
• Identifying risks and technical debt, and planning architecture development and migration of existing solutions
• Mentoring teams, ensuring technical consistency between projects, and supporting work with AI tools in accordance with client policies

Our Requirements

• Experience as an architect or technical leader of mobile applications, including responsibility for architecture and technological decisions
• Very good knowledge of Kotlin, coroutines and Flow, and principles of creating efficient and testable code
• Practical experience in Kotlin Multiplatform, including designing shared modules and their integration with platform code
• Ability to define a code sharing strategy between Android and iOS, and knowledge of integrating Kotlin/Native with Swift
• Knowledge of Compose Multiplatform and Jetpack Compose, and ability to choose shared and native UI solutions
• Very good knowledge of modularization, Clean Architecture, SOLID, and MVI and MVVM patterns
• Experience in designing API communication, data storage and synchronization, and dependency injection mechanisms; knowledge of Ktor, Koin, and Android solutions: Retrofit and Hilt
• Knowledge of mobile application security principles, data protection, authentication, and authorization
• Experience in defining testing strategies for shared and platform code, and knowledge of kotlin.test, JUnit, and MockK
• Very good knowledge of Gradle, Kotlin DSL, and Git, and experience in CI/CD processes and publishing KMP modules
• Ability to document architectural decisions, conduct technical reviews, mentor, and collaborate with stakeholders
• Ability to use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Cursor in accordance with information security policies
