Traditions in infrastructure are increasingly making way for new ways of thinking and innovations. This also demands a different perspective and dynamic on your work and role as a cost estimator or cost expert. This gives you a decisive role in winning tenders.

Your mission

You work in a self-supporting regional team. A team of approximately 20 employees who handle both acquisition and production. The lines are short, and therefore execution is directly involved in the calculation. Conversely, as a cost estimator, you are closely involved in the projects you have helped secure.

You will receive support from the many expertise teams within BAM.

You will deal with many different contract types, with a preference for 1-on-1 tenders and construction teams. So you also have a lot of customer contact.

You will work on regional projects ranging from €100k to approximately €15 million. These are projects in civil concrete construction (bridges/viaducts/parking garages), but also in industrial construction and the energy market. Examples include: Reconstruction of Exit 11 Heerenveen, TenneT Expansion of various stations, Modification of Alliander location Doetinchem, Parking Garage Leidsche Rijn, Construction of MS stations Enexis.

What do you bring?

You are structured, but also entrepreneurial and a creative thinker. You are a team player. You have empathy to understand internal and external clients. With your technical and practical experience, you arrive at the right offer. This means you have a completed secondary vocational education (MBO) or, preferably, higher professional education (HBO) in the direction of Civil Engineering or Construction. Experience is a plus, but not required! We can train driven and motivated candidates internally to become cost estimators in civil concrete and industrial construction.

What can you expect from us?

• A salary between €3,500 and €7,200 gross per month, depending on your knowledge and experience. This is based on a 40-hour work week and excludes 8% holiday pay;

Your work environment

BAM Infra Civiel specializes in integrated solutions for the realization of (multidisciplinary) projects in civil concrete construction. We master the entire process from concept development, design, and construction to financing, maintenance, management, and operation. We focus on a limited number of Product Market Combinations, such as A- and N-roads, Rail underpasses, High Voltage / Medium Voltage, Industry, and Complex inner-city constructions.

BAM Infra Civiel carries out works up to approximately €100 million. In addition, there are 3 regional teams (East, West, and South) from which works up to approximately €15 million are handled.
