Cost Analyst (m/w/d) - Public Tenders and Offer Management

We are looking for you for the finance department of a leading social enterprise in Essen. The company operates social facilities throughout Germany, where young people, homeless individuals, or refugees are cared for.
As Coster Analyst (m/w/d) – Public Tenders and Offer Management, you enable well-founded business decisions on a solid economic basis.
With your keen eye for detail, analytical skills, and understanding of complex financial relationships, you are the specialist for financial modeling, calculation, and economic evaluation of public sector offers.
Tasks
- You perform financial models and risk, opportunity, and sensitivity analyses and prepare them visually on
- You create business analyses to inform about offer, cost, and price strategies
- You ensure knowledge of current requirements, relevant legislation, and procurement guidelines in the public sector
- You work out customer financial reports with the internal financial model, align them, and clarify open questions
- You review accounting treatments according to IFRS in coordination with the group finance department
- You support the implementation of cost-effective model testing and peer reviews to ensure compliance and integrity
- You work on data preparation and data modeling to support new business proposals and cross-sectional projects
Qualification
- Completed studies in finance and relevant professional experience
- Fundamental knowledge of financial reporting and financial modeling
- Knowledge of detailed cost modeling processes, TUPE, and comparable European regulations
- Experience with company governance processes and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical skills, a quick understanding, and clear, effective communication characterize you
- You work thoroughly and meticulously – both independently and in a team
- You remain calm-headed even in stressful situations
- Fluent German knowledge (at least C2)
