Coordinator: Student Contact & Education Formats (m/w/d)

🌍 Remote (with fixed residence in Germany)

💰 30,000 € gross per year (based on current learning fair salary framework)
⏰ 30 hours a week - Working hours are in the afternoon/evening. (Usually start time between 12 and 14 o'clock, end time between 18 and 20 o'clock depending on appointments)
📃 Fixed-term employment for 1 year (due to our budget planning, but a long-term commitment is intended!)

Aufgaben

In initial conversations with us, we will discuss together with students what help they need and whether our support offers fit them. The conversations follow clear guidelines and are led by our team with empathy.

1. Team-Begleitung & Qualitätsentwicklung (Hauptfokus):

• You are the central point of contact for our large team of conversation leaders (volunteers, mini-jobbers, and interns).
• You ensure clear conversation standards and help the team to always improve (e.g. through regular feedback and observing conversations).
• You lead onboarding for new volunteers and interns and develop our conversation guidelines and training materials continuously.

2. Schüler:innen-Kontakt:

• You conduct sensitive initial conversations with students and parents.
• You jump in and help out, when at school start or after holidays, many requests come in simultaneously, to alleviate capacity bottlenecks.
• You coordinate the homework help and ensure that all processes function smoothly.

3. Konzeption & Wirkungsmessung:

• You actively work on developing trainings for our helpers.
• You support in the evaluation of survey results from students and helpers, to continuously improve our offer.

Qualifikation

• You already have experience working directly with children and/or young people
• You know how to improve processes and have experience in coordinating and working with teams (ideally even with volunteers).
• You are outgoing and communicate well with different people, and ideally you've already worked in an honorary capacity in a coordinating role.
• You are a motivating and trustworthy person who takes proactive responsibility. The understanding and appreciation for the work in volunteer structures is clear to you.
• You are comfortable with digital tools like Zoom, Slack, and ideally Notion.
