Machine and Equipment Designer (m/f/d)

Location: Mielec

Your responsibilities

• Designing machines and equipment, and making modifications to existing projects,
• Designing welding and production tooling for existing projects,
• Creating 3D and 2D technical documentation,
• Coordinating assigned project parts in terms of technical aspects,
• Verifying the conformity of implemented designs with customer specifications,
• Coordinating the project with other teams in the department (procurement, assembly),
• Collaborating with other team members to develop the best technical solutions,
• Creating concepts for the tendering process,
• Creating purchase lists for projects,
• Supporting the procurement process for designed or selected machine parts,
• Participating in activities related to the manufacturing, assembly, and commissioning of equipment,
• Creating descriptive documentation and technical specifications for commercial components,
• Participating in project reviews,
• Contacting clients and suppliers to establish technical details.

Our requirements

• Completed higher technical education or currently studying (preferably in Mechanical Engineering and Construction, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, etc.),
• Good knowledge of CAD software: CATIA v5 (3D: surfacing, solid, and sheetmetal modules, 2D),
• Very good knowledge of technical drawings and dimensioning,
• Ability to create 3D objects and technical drawings in accordance with standards,
• Ability to solve problems related to the design of machines and equipment,
• Knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
• Very good knowledge of English,
• Teamwork skills,
• Valid Category B driving license,
• Experience in a similar role,
• Knowledge of welding processes,
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems,
• Readiness for domestic and international business trips
