Constructor Technical Lead

Your responsibilities

• design of welded and sheet metal structures, and steel-wood connections,
• reviews of documentation prepared by other constructors and verification of solutions,
• selection of structural solutions, taking into account manufacturability and production cost,
• strength calculations and selection of cross-sections, connections, and standard components,
• solving construction problems reported by technology and production,
• standardization of solutions, typical elements, and documentation creation principles,
• participation in concept reviews with R&D and technology.
• creation of 3D models and 2D drawings, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings,
• preparation of a Bill of Materials (BOM) and procurement documentation.

Our requirements

• higher technical education (mechanics and machine construction or related fields),
• minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar position in a manufacturing company,
• good knowledge of 3D CAD system (Solid Edge),
• knowledge of technical drawings and tolerancing principles,
• knowledge of welded and sheet metal structures,
• basic knowledge of mechanical processing, materials, and production costs,
• accuracy and independence in work.

Nice to have

• experience in designing products combining steel with wood or plastics,
• knowledge of PDM/PLM and working with document revisions,
• knowledge of PN-EN 1090 requirements and industry product standards,
• knowledge of FEM and dynamic calculations,
• experience in conducting construction reviews and implementing CAD standards.
