Construction Engineer (m/w/x)

We are looking for a construction engineer (m/w/x) to support our team at K-tronik, a customer in the field of Funk and Communication. This sounds interesting? Then we look forward to your application!

Tasks:

• Product development from A to Z: Your responsibility extends over the entire spectrum of product development, from idea generation and concept to detailed construction (3D-CAD) to successful series implementation of our devices, systems, and micro-mechanics/electronics.
• Cooling expertise: You design and implement cooling concepts for electronic devices, etc., using thermal simulations to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Mold making & Series readiness: You oversee development samples up to production-ready status, including series run and type testing.
• Product data management & Documentation: You are responsible for product data management (PDM), change management, and product maintenance, as well as documentation for your constructions.
• Teamwork & Innovation: You work closely with other departments (e.g. electronics, software, manufacturing) to develop our products holistically and continuously improve them.
• Planning & Calculation: You create time and effort estimates, coordinate task packages, and calculate production costs for our products.

Qualifications:

• You have completed your studies in fine mechanics or microtechnology, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering with a focus on construction, or equivalent training.
• CAD knowledge: You have already gained practical experience in 3D-CAD design, ideally with NX.
• Thermal expertise: You possess comprehensive knowledge of thermal processes and cooling electronic devices.
• Construction fundamentals: You have basic knowledge of mechanical structure calculations and the construction of statically and dynamically loaded components.
• Electroaffinity: You are familiar with the basics of electrical engineering and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) or enjoy learning about this topic.
• Soft skills: You are characterized by an engaged, self-motivated, and team-oriented work style and possess fluent German and good English language skills in writing and speaking.
