EXTOR stands for a team with a big idea: a warehousing solution that closes a gap. EXTOR makes it possible to store and pick products quickly and highly economically, even those with high turnover and relatively low margins for logistics. For this, we developed the RoverLog warehouse system. We are looking for a dedicated and entrepreneurially thinking Mechanical Engineer (m/f/d) for the further development and commissioning of our newly developed automatic warehouse system. This includes planning, coordination, and execution of all necessary steps for the successful implementation and optimization of the system at various German and European locations. Your Tasks

• Leadership and supervision of the installation and commissioning of the automatic warehouse system in close cooperation with the development team and management.
• Taking on management tasks in the mechanical and electrical design of robotic systems.
• Performance of functional and safety tests as well as error analyses (based on server log data, including the development of own Python scripts for automated evaluation and error diagnosis), troubleshooting, and implementation of optimization potentials.
• Implementation, testing, and validation of the rover and server software directly on the robots.
• Development of a monitoring and analysis tool for the visualization of system data, as well as integration and commissioning of camera systems on the robots for visually supported error analysis.
• Training of operating personnel and creation of operating manuals and other technical documentation.
• Maintenance and administration of CAD/PDM systems (SolidWorks, PDM Standard) and standard part-related databases.
• Preparation of offers and technical layout development for customer inquiries.
• Supervision of prototypes and small series, including manufacturing and assembly.
• Participation in construction site and supplier visits (national and international).

• Professional experience in the commissioning and/or development of automatic warehouse or logistics systems.

• Analytical know-how and problem-solving competence.
• Communication skills coupled with assertiveness, enthusiasm, and team spirit.
• Good knowledge of English.

Salary Information The position is endowed with an annual gross salary between 60,000 and 84,000 Euros, depending on qualification and professional experience. We look forward to meeting you!
