We are currently seeking support as Konstrukteur (m/w/d) at our Weilheim location.

Aufgaben

• Designing measurement and laboratory instruments, mechanical and optical assemblies, and optical and electrochemical sensors and complex housing units in accordance with predefined concepts, taking into account quality, cost, production, service, deadline, and device safety aspects as well as various standards.
• Coordinating the design process with internal and external partners.
• Independent testing, classification, and release of external components (e.g. first sample inspection decision, part category, test class) as well as technical and advisory support for quality assurance (QS).
• Design-related support for products throughout their lifecycle (e.g. handling production disruptions, instructions, change notifications, change requests, component relocations; supporting service, procurement, production, and QS).
• Independent and self-responsible processing of design tasks.
• Working in 3D-CAD (CREO) and PDM system (Global Vault/Windchill).
• FEM simulation, preferably Moldflow analysis.
• Bill of materials work and article maintenance in ERP system (QAD/SAP) as well as change documentation.

Qualifikation

• SUCCESSFUL completion of an engineering degree (field of study: precision engineering, construction engineering, plastics technology, etc.) or state-approved mechanical engineer or comparable.
• Mind. 5 years of professional experience, preferably in a similar position.
• In-depth knowledge in the field of plastic injection molding.
• System knowledge: 3D-CAD and EDB (desirable: CREO/Global Vault/Windchill), secure handling of MS-Office applications.
• Independent, structured, organized working style as well as initiative and hands-on mentality.
• Analytical thinking and developed problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking.
