Have you left the fleet or the corps a few years ago and miss it? Or do you have no military past, but do you have a civilian specialty that is relevant to the Navy? Do you have time and are you motivated to be regularly deployed in a team for very diverse support activities for the Navy? Then we are looking for you!

As a Reservist in the Navy, you are a full member of the Navy and can contribute with your knowledge and experience. The Reservist is our flexible force par excellence who can be deployed for various activities.

What you will do

In Logistics, you support the Royal Netherlands Navy and Defense from your specialization in the logistics sector. Are you a strategic thinker? Then come and assist us at LOGPLAN as a logistics planner. Are you an action-oriented doer? Then come and support us as an operational employee. Container handling, loading a ship, moving all types of vehicles, and supporting the logistical needs for military training are your fields of work. Is the administrative and physical management of our goods more your area? Ensuring that materials are physically and administratively in the right place at the right time, or arrive there. You can also contribute to our task at KMRLOG then.

Once you are employed by the Royal Netherlands Navy Reserve, you will have various possibilities. It is possible to perform work structurally (part-time or full-time) or occasionally. If you want to work structurally, we will look into the possibilities of a contract of 8-38 hours per week. If you want to work occasionally, calls are regularly distributed among all reservists. In these calls, you will be asked to participate in diverse deployments.

Where you will work

As a Reservist, it is important that your military skills are up to standard. Do you have no Navy past? Then we will train you with a Military Basic Training, where you will be taught the necessary military skills. Do you have a Navy past? Then training will be offered to refresh your basic military skills. In addition to basic military skills, additional training may be possible depending on your rank and activities at KMR Logistics.

After appointment, you may also be deployed by the Navy in other suitable functions, but KMR Logistics will be your primary task. Your duty station is Groenekan in the province of Utrecht, but the work is spread throughout the Netherlands and beyond.
