The Messe and Congress Centrum Halle Münsterland GmbH is a subsidiary of the City of Münster and the largest event center in the region. In our team, we create the perfect framework for numerous fairs, congresses, concerts, and events.

We are looking for someone to join our Marketing and Communication department on a full-time basis (39 hours per week) initially for 2 years with the prospect of indefinite employment.

Aufgaben

• Strategic Communications Planning: You develop a comprehensive communications strategy that optimally supports our company and marketing goals, integrates classical and digital communication channels, and sets this strategy in motion.
• Budget Management: You manage the communications budget and report regularly on expenses.
• Content Development: You develop diverse content – press releases, website contents, videos, and social media posts – for the company as a whole and for our own event formats.
• Media Relations: You build relationships with journalists and relevant media representatives, maintain these continuously, and handle incoming media inquiries.
• Analyse and Reporting: You measure and analyze communications measures and create reports based on this, as well as optimization recommendations.
• Weitere Aufgaben: You work continuously to increase our employer attractiveness and visibility in Münster and are responsible for the use and management of video equipment. Additionally, you take over crisis communication, represent department leadership, and handle administrative tasks.

Qualification

• You hold a completed degree in Communication, PR, Marketing, or a related field and bring extensive professional experience in the communications industry, ideally in a comparable position.
• You convince through creativity and innovative spirit and plan and set successful communication strategies into motion.
• You are experienced in strategic media work, content creation, and social media management and engage in increasing visibility and employer attractiveness.
• You possess excellent written and oral communication skills in German and English.
• You have secure knowledge of Office programs and the Adobe Creative Cloud.
• You have a meticulous, structured, and responsible work style.
