Communications Designer (m/w/d)

The AI Hub Frankfurt is the central platform for Artificial Intelligence, Innovation, and Future Technologies in the Rhein-Main-Region. We connect companies, startups, talents, and the public — and make AI visible, understandable, and experiential.

We are hosting one of the largest AI events in the region with the AI Week Frankfurt. For our next growth step, we are looking for someone with a genuine hands-on mentality — someone who is at home in Figma as well as CapCut, who builds their own page in Webflow and implements good design rather than just seeing it.

Tasks

In this role, you will work closely with the founding team, bring your own ideas, and implement them with a genuine hands-on mentality.

• Design all digital and analog communication media — from Social Media Assets to Event Materials to Presentations and Partner Pitches
• Pursue and further develop the website — content-wise and design-wise, using tools like Webflow or Framer
• Create and edit video and social media content with tools like CapCut
• Co-development of a consistent visual identity for AI Hub Frankfurt and AI Week Frankfurt
• Conceptualization and implementation of campaigns with clear visual storytelling
• Building and maintaining a design system for consistent brand communication
• Active co-shaping of the AI Week Frankfurt — from visual planning to on-site implementation

Qualification

You have a keen sense of visual communication, work independently — and are used to things not just being conceived but also made.

First or several years of experience in Communications Design, Graphic Design, or Brand Design, ideally in an agency, startup, or event environment.

• Safe handling with Figma or Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) — you can start without instructions
• Safe handling with Webflow or Framer for website maintenance and further development
• Experience with CapCut or comparable video editing tools for social media content
• Strong sense of typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy
• Experience in developing and maintaining corporate identities and design systems
• Interest in or experience with Motion Design or video formats is an advantage
• Structured, implementation-oriented, and independent working style
• Pleasure in close collaboration with founders and interdisciplinary teams
• Very good German and English skills in writing and speaking
• Interest in AI, technology, and innovation
