What do you do?

Do you have a passion for cooking? Do you see yourself as the driving force behind the kitchen? After a short military training as a catering officer, you start in the kitchen, preparing meals for hundreds of people every day, taking into account the material, personnel, and budgets. No work experience is required for this job.

This is what you're really good at:

Menu's setting up and applying different kitchen techniques. Managing food supplies and leading and guiding the hospitality staff under your authority. In all circumstances, taking into account the standards regarding quality and hygiene. During exercises and operations, working in a mobile kitchen infrastructure in Belgium, abroad, and/or in an international kitchen team.
