Klaviyo Freelancer (m/f/d) - Newsletter & Flow Setups for E-Commerce Brands

We are Milveo Capital GmbH – an E-commerce Marketing Agency. We support D2C and E-commerce brands in the areas of Shopify, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Klaviyo, and SEO.

For our Shopify e-commerce clients, we are looking for an experienced Klaviyo Freelancer (m/f/d) who independently implements two types of projects:

1. Newsletter Campaigns – Conception, design, copy, and sending for ongoing brands
2. Klaviyo Setups – New account setups including Welcome Flow, Cart Abandonment & Co.

Tasks

Newsletter Campaigns

• Planning and implementation of campaigns in Klaviyo for several e-commerce brands
• Setup in the Klaviyo editor: layout, image integration, mobile optimization
• Writing subject lines, preheaders, and newsletter copy in native German
• Segmentation and recipient selection (including engagement segments and list hygiene)
• A/B tests, scheduling, sending, and quality control before going live

Klaviyo Setups

• Setup of new Klaviyo accounts including Shopify integration
• Setup of core flows: Welcome Flow, Cart Abandonment, Browse Abandonment, Post-Purchase, Winback / Reactivation
• Creation and integration of sign-up forms and pop-ups (GDPR-compliant double opt-in)
• Technical setup: Domain authentication (DKIM/SPF), Sending Domain, deliverability basics
• Create basic segment and list structure
• Brief reporting or handover documentation of the most important KPIs and settings

Qualifications

• Several years of demonstrable experience with Klaviyo – not an entry-level profile
  Experience with both campaign sending and setting up complete flow setups
• Native-level German (copy goes live directly)
• Good understanding of e-commerce copy, offer communication, and campaign timing
• A keen eye for design and brand-compliant implementation. Knowledge of the legal framework in email marketing (GDPR, double opt-in, imprint, unsubscribe link)
• Independent, reliable work style and adherence to shipping deadlines. Valid business registration or self-employed status. Advantageous: Experience with Shopify and deliverability topics
