Customer Advisor Bank

For a local bank and insurance office in Denderleeuw, we are looking for someone who enjoys combining different facets of banking. You will have a broad role with a lot of customer contact, administrative follow-up, and commercial responsibility.

What does that concretely entail?

• You are a first point of contact for customers and ensure a professional and warm welcome.
• You guide new customers through their start-up and help further develop the customer relationship.
• You meticulously follow up on bank transfers and inheritance files and ensure that everything is handled correctly and on time.
• You maintain contact with customers and internal departments for this.
• You actively listen to customers and detect opportunities within their financial situation.
• You connect customers with the credit specialist or investment advisor if necessary and help ensure smooth follow-up.
• You proactively contact existing customers to discuss their needs and future plans.
• You advise customers on simple banking products.
• You independently handle installment loans and guide customers with pension savings.
• You ensure correct administrative processing of your files.
• You work with colleagues towards the commercial objectives and further growth of the office.

This role requires someone who enjoys working with people and seeing opportunities. You don't have to know everything already, but you must be curious and eager to expand your banking knowledge.

• You have experience in the banking sector or have completed relevant education.
• You possess the necessary PCP certificates.
• You are customer-oriented and communicate smoothly and professionally.
• You gain energy from personal customer contact and enjoy building long-term relationships.
• You have commercial acumen and dare to ask further questions when you detect a potential need.
• You are administratively strong and work accurately.
• You take initiative and don't wait for someone to tell you what needs to be done.
• You can work independently, but function at least as well within a team.
• You are reliable and follow up on agreements and files correctly.
• You are flexible and can easily switch between reception, administration, customer advice, and commercial follow-up.
• You have the ambition to develop further within the banking sector.
• You are curious about loans and investments and are open to specializing further in these areas.
