Overview of the position

Pedevilla S.p.A. - Benefit Society is looking for a Junior Kitchen Assistant to work evening shifts at a site located in Monti (Rome).

Main responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef during daytime shifts to learn cooking techniques and procedures.
  
• Prepare and support meal preparation according to received instructions.
  
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen, tools, and equipment used.
  
• In the final phase, manage the evening shift independently for approximately 30-40 covers, assisted by a food service attendant.
  

Candidate requirements

• Diploma in hospitality or equivalent (preferable).
  
• Brief experience in the catering sector (including internships or training).
  
• Interest in pursuing a professional growth path in cooking.
  
• Flexibility and availability to work daytime and evening shifts, including Saturdays or Sundays.

Working hours

After an initial mentorship with the chef during daytime shifts (32 hours weekly, approximately 7:30-15:00), working hours will be 34 hours weekly, distributed as follows:

• Monday and Tuesday: 6 hours (16:00-22:30, including a break)
  
• Wednesday - Friday: 5 hours (17:00-22:30, including a break)
  
• Saturday or Sunday: double shift lunch and dinner (10 hours: 8:00-14:30 and 18:00-22:30)
