Woodworking Shop Manager (M/F)

We are a dynamically developing manufacturing company that prioritizes the highest quality, modern machinery, and artisanal precision. Due to the expansion of our facility and the implementation of new, interesting projects, we are looking for an experienced and engaged Woodworking Shop Manager (M/F) to take the helm of our production team.

• Management of the woodworking shop and coordination of daily activities of the team of carpenters and assistants.
• Verification and selection of raw material: Supervision of the quality of received timber, control of its moisture content, grade, and suitability for specific projects.
• Planning and supervision of the timely execution of production plans.
• Quality control of finished products and ensuring execution standards comply with technical documentation.
• Optimization of production processes and efficient management of raw materials and supplies.
• Supervision of the machinery park, ensuring proper operation of machines and adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Accounting for working hours of the subordinate team and motivating employees to achieve goals.

Essential Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of raw material: Practical knowledge of wood species, their defects, physical properties, and behavior during processing.
• Knowledge of finishing processes: Understanding of wood's reaction during drying and varnishing.
• Experience in a managerial position: Tenure as a manager or foreman in the furniture or woodworking industry.
• Knowledge of technical drawing: Ability to flawlessly read and interpret documentation.

• Operation of machinery park: Familiarity with modern woodworking machines (CNC numerical control, edge banding machines, panel saws).
• Soft skills: High interpersonal skills, leadership abilities, and excellent work organization.
