Restaurant Shift Manager

Your responsibilities

• Supervision of the proper functioning of the restaurant during the shift
• Management of the waiting staff and support for employees in their daily tasks
• Ensuring the highest standard of guest service in accordance with hotel policy
• Coordinating the work of the kitchen and restaurant to ensure efficient order fulfillment
• Resolving ongoing operational issues and responding to guest needs
• Quality control of served dishes and beverages
• Ensuring the aesthetic appearance of the restaurant hall and adherence to hygiene and safety regulations
• Cooperation with other hotel departments
• Taking reservations and organizing work during larger events and banquets
• Maintaining shift reports
• Training and onboarding new employees

Our requirements

• Experience in a leadership role in gastronomy
• Ability to manage a team and motivate employees
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Focus on a high standard of guest service
• Good personal organization and ability to work under time pressure
• Knowledge of savoir-vivre rules and standards of service in gastronomy
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills in a dynamic environment
• Availability for shift work, including weekends and holidays
• Communicative knowledge of English (other foreign languages are a plus)
• Valid health and safety booklet (sanitary-epidemiological)
• Knowledge of POS systems and basic computer programs
• Commitment, responsibility, and attention to detail
