For our Client, we are looking for a person for the position of IT Manager. This is not a classic maintenance role. We are looking for a leader who will take responsibility for the comprehensive transformation and development of the IT area, organize processes, strengthen the team, and prepare the organization for further stages of technological development. Scope of responsibility: managing the IT department and developing team competencies, building effective cooperation between IT and business stakeholders, defining strategy and goals for the IT area, implementing and standardizing IT processes and procedures, preparing a modernization plan for the infrastructure and system environment, managing the budget, suppliers, and technology partners, overseeing the continuity of key systems, initiating and leading transformation and development projects, cooperating with university authorities in planning and implementing technological initiatives. Our expectations: experience in the position of IT Director, Head of IT, CIO, or similar, practical experience in managing IT teams and building their effectiveness, experience in leading organizational changes and IT environment transformations, ability to build relationships and effective communication at various levels of the organization, experience in managing IT infrastructure, suppliers, and budget, ability to combine business, organizational, and technological perspectives, independence, initiative, and a high level of responsibility. Technological environment: The Candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of an environment including, among others: Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online, Active Directory, Windows 10/11, USOS, Moodle, Simple.ERP, Webcon, library and repository systems, systems integrating university and administrative processes.
