Process Optimization Department Manager (Lean Manager)

We are looking for someone who not only knows Lean tools from textbooks but can actually change processes – from value stream mapping to implementations that are visible in the results. Process Optimization Department Manager (Lean Manager)

Additionally - this is a department being built from scratch within a very stable organization - with the possibility of becoming head of the department in the future and creating your own team.

• leading Value Stream Mapping, identifying bottlenecks, and building plans for lead time reduction,
• leading progress reviews, reporting to the Management Board, and recommending corrective actions.
• co-creating and updating the Lean roadmap in line with the company's business goals,
• organizing and moderating Kaizen workshops (5S, SMED, TPM, layout, pull flow).
• creating a Lean training program for the organization,
• coaching line leaders and process owners.
• managing Lean projects in various company departments,
• monitoring progress and reporting on implementation results.
• defining KPIs related to process efficiency,
• reporting savings and measurable effects of implementations.
• identifying digital tools supporting flow,
• designing data visualizations and automating reporting.

• experience in the position of Lean Manager, Continuous Improvement Manager, Lean Engineer, or similar – minimum 4 years
• very good knowledge of Lean tools (5S, VSM, SMED, TPM, Kaizen, standard work),
• excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships for change implementation – conversations at various levels from employees to management
• ability to independently lead optimization projects and work with teams,
• analytical thinking and ability to diagnose problems at the source,
• independence and initiative in implementing changes,
• preferred: Lean Six Sigma certifications (Green Belt / Black Belt).
• readiness for stationary work or readiness for permanent relocation – Gdańsk – a mandatory condition
