Job description

Construction Manager (M/F/X)

Location: Częstochowa

Your responsibilities

  • Performing the function of Construction Manager within the meaning of the Building Law - maintaining the construction log and full investment documentation.
  • Supervising the execution of underground technological infrastructure of fuel stations, including tanks, technological pipelines, vapor recovery systems, separators, leak detection systems, sealing, and drainage.
  • Ensuring compliance of execution with the fire protection design and correct installation in explosion hazard zones (ATEX).
  • Coordinating the work of all trades carried out simultaneously at the complex facilities and managing inter-trade collisions.
  • Controlling the quality of works, compliance with the design documentation, and adherence to Health and Safety and Fire Protection regulations by contractors and subcontractors.
  • Supervising the delivery of materials and equipment and verifying quality documentation (declarations, certificates, attestations).
  • Preparing and conducting trade inspections (UDT, PSP, Sanitary Inspection, utility providers) and compiling documentation for the operating permit.
  • Weekly reporting of work progress to the Project Manager in the Investment Department.

Our requirements

  • Building permits without limitations for managing construction works in the structural-building specialization.
  • Current entry on the PIIB (Polish Chamber of Construction Engineers) member list with valid civil liability insurance.
  • 10 years of experience as a construction manager for commercial facilities.
  • Knowledge of fire safety and explosion hazard zones in fuel facilities.
  • Higher technical education (construction or related field) and knowledge of Building Law and acceptance procedures.
  • Category B driving license.
Nice to have
  • Experience with multi-functional complexes (fuel station + gastronomy + car wash + market in one location).
  • Confirmed experience with underground infrastructure and installation technologies typical for fuel stations, supported by realized projects.
  • Additional installation permits (sanitary, electrical) or SEP (Association of Polish Electrical Engineers) qualifications.
  • Experience in construction projects realized in a package system, with separate contracting of trades.
  • ATEX / explosion safety training.
  • Knowledge of MS Project.
  • Communicative English language skills.
