KI Developer

We are looking for an experienced support with practical project experience in the productive use of KI systems. The focus lies on the integration of Generative AI in existing backend systems, particularly in the context of data quality, interfaces, and governance/freedom processes.

The role combines KI engineering, backend development, and system integration to operate KI solutions stably and productively.

Tasks

• Conceptualization and implementation of GenAI applications with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Development and integration of backend services in Python
• Integration of KI systems in existing system landscapes and APIs
• Ensuring data quality and data readiness for KI applications
• Implementation of interfaces between data sources, KI models, and target systems
• Support in freedom processes and governance questions around KI systems
• Building stable fallback and error handling mechanisms
• Participation in tests, quality assurance, and productive operation
• Collaboration with departments and IT to integrate the KI solution

Qualification

Required

• Fundamental Python and backend development experience
• Experience with Generative AI and RAG architectures
• Documented project experience with productive KI systems
• Experience in system integration and API bindings
• Understanding of data quality and data preparation for KI
• Experience in handling interfaces, data flows, and integration architectures

Desirable and Should-Criteria

• Experience with security and data protection requirements for KI systems
• Experience with testing strategies for KI applications
• Implementation of fallback logics and error handling
• Experience with cloud-based implementation, preferably in the IONOS Cloud environment
• Experience with deployment and operation of KI systems

Wanted

• Experience with data processing and data readiness
• Knowledge in logging, monitoring, and tracing
• Understanding of contact center or ticketing systems
• Experience with observability in backend systems
