AI Engineer for Projects in Medium-Sized Enterprises (m/w/d)

Develop AI solutions that are actually used in medium-sized enterprises

COREEN GmbH is a specialized innovation and transformation consultancy focused on medium-sized enterprises. We support companies in making artificial intelligence, automation, and digital solutions responsible and practically usable.

To further develop our AI offering, we are looking for an experienced: Ai Engineer, who develops AI solutions that work in medium-sized enterprises: prototypes, MVPs, RAG applications, KI-supported workflows, assistant systems, and technical integrations for real-world cases in medium-sized companies.

Tasks

• Development of AI prototypes, MVPs, and production-ready applications
• Building RAG systems, chatbot, and assistant solutions based on company data
• Integration of KI models, APIs, data sources, document storage, and vector databases
• Development of automations and KI workflows using Python, APIs, n8n, Make, or agent frameworks
• Technical evaluation of use cases regarding feasibility, effort, data requirements, security, and operation
• Closely working with consultants, experts, and customer teams
• Documented architecture, assumptions, limitations, risks, and operational requirements
• Participation in building reusable components, templates, and technical standards

Qualification

You don't have to meet all points perfectly. What's important is practical experience, technical judgment, and enthusiasm for implementing AI solutions in medium-sized enterprises.

• Experience in software development, preferably with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar languages
• Practical experience with LLMs, KI APIs, or frameworks like OpenAI API, Azure OpenAI, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, Ollama, or comparable technologies
• Understanding of RAG, embeddings, vector databases, document processing, and prompt/system design
• Experience with APIs, data pipelines, automation, or system integration
• Basic understanding of cloud, hosting, deployment, Docker, or CI/CD
• Interest in agent workflows, AI automation, and low-code/no-code tools
• Able to explain technical topics clearly and document them neatly
• Awareness of data protection, security, governance, and responsible AI use
• Excellent German language skills and good English language skills

A degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or a similar field is helpful but not necessarily required if you can show your experience through projects, code, products, or work samples.
