Job Description

We are currently launching a new, exciting training program: AI for Project Engineering – part of a comprehensive AI Academy, with which we make Engineers fit for the AI era, and we are currently looking for reinforcement for our team.

Have you used AI-powered software development in your professional daily life – programmed with AI coding copilots, built agents and MCP integrations, integrated AI features into productive architectures – and now want to pass on this knowledge instead of just using it in your own projects? As an AI & Engineering Coach, you will guide experienced software engineers and PMTs technically and didactically through their AI further training: You will answer their questions, help them overcome hurdles in hackathons, sandbox exercises, and client implementation projects, and ensure that they not only operate AI tools at the end, but also independently develop robust, secure, and scalable AI solutions.

You will assess learning progress, conduct final projects such as the deployment of an MVP solution, and provide structured, constructive feedback. Through close contact with the learners, you will also actively contribute to the further development of our new training program – in close cooperation with the Coaching Team Lead, the Learning Team, and other interfaces.

What You Bring

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification

• Several years of experience as a software or AI engineer, ideally with practical experience in AI-powered software development (coding copilots, LLM APIs, agent architectures, RAG, MCP)

• Confident use of modern software engineering practices: Testing, Debugging, CI/CD, Containerization (Docker), and Cloud Deployment

• Experience in integrating AI components into legacy systems as well as in data management for AI (Data Chunking, Indexing, RAG)

• Understanding of AI governance topics (EU AI Act, data security, Responsible AI)

• Didactic experience in teaching technical content to experienced software engineers

• Understanding of didactic concepts in adult education and online training

• High customer and service orientation, empathy, clear communication, and constructive feedback culture

• Hands-on mentality, team spirit, resilience, and flexibility

• Very good German and English language skills (min. C1)

Focus Areas of Your Role

• Technical answering of learners' questions (written and oral) regarding AI-powered software development, modern AI architectures, MCP, and system integration

• Teaching and deepening of training content in kick-off and closing live events, digital workshops, hackathons, and individual learning support

• Support with uncertainties in the learning process as well as in sandbox exercises, hackathons, and client implementation projects

• Conducting and evaluating final projects (including deployment of an MVP solution) as well as deciding on training success

• Creation, preparation, and further development of learning materials on AI coding copilots, Spec-Driven Development, RAG, MCP, and cloud deployment

• Quality assurance of existing training, including feedback to the learning team

• Conducting individual coaching sessions on debugging, code reviews, build-vs-buy decisions, and test automation

• Support for new team members
