KI Engineer (m/w/d) - Artificial Intelligence & Data Innovation in Banking

We are looking for a KI Engineer (m/w/d) on behalf of our client – an established, modern financial institution in the Rhein-Main region. In this role, you will develop and integrate KI solutions with real impact: from efficiency gains in internal processes to data-based applications for employees and customers.

Tasks

• Identification, evaluation, and prioritization of KI use cases along relevant business and support processes
• Development, implementation, and optimization of KI applications (e.g. assistant systems, chatbots, recommendation systems)
• BUILDING AND FURTHER DEVELOPMENT OF MODELS INCLUDING TRAINING, EVALUATION, MONITORING, AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
• Shaping the KI architecture and data landscape (interfaces, data flows, governance)
• Collaboration with departments, IT, and external partners – from idea to productive operation
• Ensuring data protection, security, and regulatory requirements in KI projects

Qualification

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent qualification
• Multiple years of experience in KI engineering, machine learning, or data science (ideally with production-ready use cases)
• Excellent knowledge of Python and common ML/DL frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Experience with MLOps, deployment, API integration, and model operation (monitoring, versioning, CI/CD)
• Understanding of data management and quality (e.g. feature engineering, pipelines)
• Analytical thinking, pragmatic hands-on mentality, and clear communication with tech and functional stakeholders
