Tasks

Strategy:

• You will be responsible for the performance of a testing station cluster in the Stuttgart/Baden-Württemberg region (revenue, quality, team, customer satisfaction).

Leadership & Team

• Technical and disciplinary leadership of PIs and PAs in your region.
• Recruiting, onboarding, and further development of your team members.
• Clear vision, regular 1:1s, feedback, and coaching.
• Building a high-performing, stable, and motivated team culture.

Operational Management & KPIs

• Ensuring smooth operations at all testing stations (utilization, throughput, waiting times).
• Management of your cluster's key KPIs:
• Regional revenue & revenue per PI
• Lift utilization
• Testing quality
• Shift, vacation, and deployment planning for your team.
• Operational on-site support, e.g., in cases of illness or vacation.

Customer & Market

• Ensuring a top service experience for B2C and B2B customers.
• Active expansion of existing customers and acquisition of new key partners in the region.
• Monitoring NPS, reviews, complaints, and initiating measures.

Entrepreneurial Responsibility

• Identification of growth levers and process improvements, close coordination with HQ (COO, Expansion, GTM, Product, People, Finance).
• Input on expansion, local market insights, and product feedback from operations.
• You will lead and develop the team of testing engineers (PIs) and testing assistants (PAs).
• You will combine operational work as a testing engineer with clear leadership and management responsibility.

Qualification

• Qualification: Completed further training as an automotive testing engineer (e.g., via KÜS, TÜV, GTÜ, Dekra)
• Expertise: At least 5 years of experience as an automotive testing engineer, ideally with initial leadership or site responsibility.
• Driver's Licenses: Classes A, B, and CE and willingness to travel within the BW region.
• Commitment: Strong understanding of KPIs and economic contexts, desire for ownership of revenue & bottom line.
• Good presence, clear communication, German C2.
• Style: Hands-on, pragmatic, but with high quality standards.
