Automotive Mechanic/Electromechanic for Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (m/w/d)

Your task is to support our workshop location in Leipzig in the area of maintenance, inspection, and repair of GSE. Only when our customers can operate their aircraft ground handling with high-quality and reliable GSE are we satisfied.

Your tasks in detail

• Carrying out repair and maintenance work on aircraft ground support equipment according to recognized technical rules
• Error diagnosis and rectification of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in the equipment
• Maintenance, inspection, and repair of vehicles and machines to ensure their functionality and safety
• Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance guidelines
• Documented all performed repairs and maintenance work in our system
• Supporting the development and optimization of repair processes and workflows
• Preliminary preparation of equipment for handover to customers or airport use

Your profile

• Completed vocational training as a mechanic/mechatronic technician in the automotive/industrial sector or equivalent training (e.g., agricultural or construction machinery technician)
• Knowledge of relevant technical regulations and guidelines
• At least good German language skills in writing and speaking
• You possess/have obtained a valid reliability check according to §7 Air Traffic Safety Act
• Class B driving license
• Ideal candidate with forklift operator's certificate
