Key Account Manager/ Sales Automotive (m/f/d) - JN533-01

Our client is a successful medium-sized automotive supplier specializing in the development and production of high-quality painted plastic components for exterior and interior applications. The company specializes in small and medium-sized series, producing customized solutions for well-known OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a strong sales professional as a Key Account Manager Automotive (m/f/d) - Home office possible, company headquarters in Bavaria.

Tasks

• Active acquisition of new customers and projects in the automotive environment (OEM and Tier-1)
• Strategic expansion of the customer portfolio and identification of new market potentials
• Support and further development of existing customer relationships
• Evaluation and processing of customer inquiries together with the specialist departments
• Preparation of calculations and quotations
• Conducting price and contract negotiations
• Close cooperation with development, project management, and production
• Representation of the company at customer visits, trade fairs, and industry events

Qualifications

• Several years of sales experience in the automotive supplier industry
• Demonstrable successes in new customer acquisition and project procurement
• Experience in the sales of technically sophisticated plastic components or comparable components
• Knowledge in the field of painted plastic parts for exterior and/or interior is an advantage
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
• Occasional willingness to travel
