Keppel Internship Programme 2027] Intern, Plant Operations (Jan - May 2027)

JOB DESCRIPTION Keppel is a leading global asset manager and operator with strong capabilities in energy & environment, urban development and connectivity, creating solutions for a sustainable future. The intern will be responsible in the following: 'Understand overview of energy market in Singapore Understand overview of integrated energy business of Keppel Understand overview of power plant process Understand overview of power plant O&M and participate in general daily activities Support with data collection and analysis for operational improvement projects Assist in drafting technical reports and presentations related to plant operations Engage in site visits and observations to gain practical insights into plant operations Contribute to team meetings and discussions on operational challenges and solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Gain a comprehensive understanding of the energy market dynamics in Singapore. * Familiarize with Keppel's integrated energy business model and operations. * Learn the fundamental processes involved in power plant operations. * Understand the principles and practices of power plant Operation & Maintenance (O&M). * Participate actively in the day-to-day activities within the plant operations department. * Provide support in collecting and analyzing operational data to identify areas for improvement. * Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations. * Observe and participate in site visits to gain practical exposure to plant functioning. * Contribute to team discussions and problem-solving sessions. QUALIFICATIONS: * Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) or a related field. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Proactive and eager to learn. * Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Previous internship experience is a plus but not mandatory.
