Swiss-Green Engineering specializes in photovoltaics and energy storage systems (BESS). Founded in 2009 and based in Murten, the company develops and markets sustainable energy solutions for private and business customers. As a subsidiary of the Viteos Group - a leading player in the energy transition in Western Switzerland with around 600 employees - the company relies on a network of certified installation partners as well as the strength and stability of a large corporate group.
To support the company's further development, we are looking for our future Commercial Director. Together with the Technical Director, you will take on the co-leadership of the company and drive its business development in Western and German-speaking Switzerland.
Commercial Director - Co-Leadership
Your Role
In co-leadership with the Technical Director, you will take overall responsibility for the company in the areas of sales, administration, finance, and personnel. You will be responsible for the sustainable growth of the company, its profitability, and customer satisfaction, while ensuring good corporate governance.
Co-Leadership & Corporate Governance
Implementation of the strategy approved by the Board of Directors: operational implementation, allocation of human, material, and financial resources.
Conducting strategic analysis of the company and proposing measures to improve performance and results.
Leading management meetings and representing the company before the Board of Directors.
Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Business Development & Acquisition
Actively building the company's visibility in Western and German-speaking Switzerland.
Acquiring new customers and nurturing existing relationships: preparing, presenting, and negotiating offers.
Managing the tender process from costing to final offer submission.
Negotiating with customers and suppliers and monitoring costs and margins.
Ensuring competitive intelligence.
Representing the company at events and expanding your network.
Leadership & Organization
Recruiting, leading, and motivating the sales team; setting individual and collective goals.
Implementing monitoring and reporting tools, assessing performance, and promoting competency development.
Overseeing the administrative, contractual, and financial aspects of projects and ensuring smooth internal operations (purchasing, HR, accounting).
Administration & Human Resources
Overseeing HR processes together with the responsible HR contact person: recruitment, onboarding, annual reviews, further training, contract management.
Ensuring the conformity of internal operating regulations, salary policy, and applicable collective labor agreements (GAV).
Overall responsibility for the company's HR department and its management (with support from Viteos).
