Commercial Management / Authorized Representative (m/w/d)

NAHBUS is the municipal transportation company in Northwest Mecklenburg including the Hanseatic city of Wismar. We operate 78 lines, covering both regional and urban as well as school traffic throughout the district. 33 call bus lines complement this offer especially for rural areas. With our own fleet of 128 line buses and 27 small vehicles (call buses) as well as in cooperation with a network of partner companies, we ensure access to public transportation for our passengers. The approximately 2,000 employees at NAHBUS are committed to providing a reliable and efficient service. As part of the municipal administration, we are responsible for ensuring that the transportation needs of the population are met. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive and customer-oriented public transportation system. We are looking for a commercial management / authorized representative (m/w/d) who will support us in achieving this goal. The tasks include: • Strategic planning and implementation of NAHBUS's business development, • Development and implementation of marketing strategies, • Management of the company's financial resources, • Supervision of the operational management, • Representation of NAHBUS in external committees and working groups, • Coordination with other municipal departments, • Support for the development of new services and projects. The ideal candidate should have: • A degree in business administration or a related field, • Several years of experience in a comparable position, • Strong leadership skills, • Excellent communication and organizational abilities, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, • Familiarity with public transportation systems and their challenges.
