We are PRÖCHEL – the façade experts for glass and metal. Since 1995, we have been planning, manufacturing, and installing window, façade, and automatic door solutions for industrial and commercial construction. From Sparkasse Nürnberg to Campus Marienberg to Main Yard in Frankfurt: Our projects are technically demanding and logistically challenging.

We have restructured our company organizationally. We are now looking for someone for the commercial management who will permanently support and further develop this structure. The position is currently filled on an interim basis – a structured handover is guaranteed.

Responsibilities

You will be fully responsible for finance and accounting as well as controlling.
You will manage a team of four people, both technically and disciplinarily – and develop them further.
You will manage project controlling in façade and metal construction: preliminary and final costing, cost control, change order management.
You will plan and manage liquidity – with foresight, reliability, and a clear view of the coming months.
You will prepare economic plans, budgets, forecasts, and monthly and quarterly reports; you will prepare the annual financial statements – they will be finalized with our tax advisor.
You will conduct discussions with banks and financing partners – credit lines, guarantees, ratings.
You will develop processes and reporting and act as the point of contact for tax advisors, auditors, and external partners.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU

Several years of experience in a comparable position – ideally in construction, metal, or façade construction or a project-driven industry.
Proficient DATEV skills – this is a mandatory requirement for us, not a nice-to-have.
Experience in bank communication and dealing with credit institutions.
In-depth knowledge of controlling and accounting, proficient in the HGB (German Commercial Code) system.
A degree in business administration or a comparable qualification (e.g., certified accountant, business economist).
Experience in project and construction controlling is a clear advantage.
Proficient use of ERP systems and Excel.
Leadership experience and a confident, assertive demeanor – towards banks, partners, and your own team.
Entrepreneurial thinking, initiative, discretion, and enjoyment in thinking about issues holistically.
