The Thermotec AG is an internationally recognized manufacturer and specialist for electric heating systems "Made in Germany". With around 40 employees, we develop and produce efficient electric heating systems – from the idea to the heating system construction to worldwide sales – all under one roof.

To further develop our commercial organization, we are looking for a Commercial Team Leader (m/w/d). In this role, you will be responsible for structuring and further developing central commercial processes and leading a small team. A modern, efficient working style – including the sensible use of KI tools in daily work – is self-evident for us.

Tasks

Your Mission

You will ensure stable, transparent, and efficient commercial processes and develop your team and structures continuously.

You will lead and develop a commercial team and strengthen structured collaboration

You will organize and steer daily operations in the commercial department

You will ensure that tasks are completed on time and in high quality

You will optimize processes and interfaces between accounting, personnel, procurement, and other departments

You will support with monthly and annual closings and ensure transparency over relevant key figures

You will create evaluations, reports, and decision-making documents for the management

You will be responsible for topics around funding programs – from identifying suitable funding opportunities to application submission to documentation

You will conduct a regular FIBU check and funding check

You will be the contact person for internal teams and external partners and service providers

You will use as a KI application specialist digital tools and KI applications to streamline processes and automate routine tasks

Qualification

What you bring

Completed commercial training or a business studies degree

Several years of experience in a commercial environment (e.g. finance, accounting, procurement or personnel)

First leadership experience or experience in coordinating teams or projects

Very good handling of MS Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage

Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style

Responsibility, communication strength, and assertiveness

Openness to digital working methods and KI-supported process optimization

Very good German language skills; English language skills are an advantage

Experience in the area of funding or funding programs is desirable
