We are looking for a Senior Consultant who combines financial understanding, consulting competence, and analytical thinking. In this role, you will support clients long-term in optimizing their financial and controlling processes and develop modern BI and planning solutions together with them.

Your tasks as Senior Consultant

• Consulting and support of clients in the area of Business Intelligence, Corporate Planning, and Group Consolidation

• Analysis of business requirements together with Finance, Controlling, and Group Accounting

• Development of concepts and solution architectures based on IBM Planning Analytics TM1

• Translation of business requirements into technical solutions and system concepts

• Modeling and implementation of OLAP solutions, reports, dashboards, and planning systems

• Development and optimization of data integrations from ERP, financial, and pre-systems

• Accompanying customer projects from conception to commissioning

• Conducting workshops, user training, and presentations for the client

• Long-term support and further development of existing customer solutions

• Support with presales activities, solution concepts, and customer presentations

Your Profile

• Completed studies in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Finance, Controlling, or comparable fields

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Financial Planning, and Group Consolidation

• Sound knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting and controlling processes

• Practical experience in the analysis and optimization of finance and controlling processes

• Strong communication skills and confident demeanor in interactions with clients and business units

• Analytical and structured way of working with a high degree of personal responsibility

• Interest in data-driven solutions and understanding of BI and planning systems

• Fluent German language skills for optimal customer consulting and team communication

• Occasional willingness to travel for customer appointments and workshops (approx. 1x per month)
  Nice to Have:

• Experience with IBM Planning Analytics TM1
