Job description
Do you want to take responsibility for quality, safety, health, and environment within a technical company as an experienced KAM Manager? VDL HMI in Helmond is looking for a practical and results-oriented KAM Manager to strengthen the team of 100 employees.
Your role as KAM Manager
As KAM Manager, you are part of the management team and you manage the entire quality policy. You work on technical, quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental issues and actively contribute to the sustainability goals of VDL HMI.
- You develop and manage the quality and environmental systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and EN 1090)
- You work on sustainability themes such as the CO2 performance ladder, MKI, and CSRD
- You guide internal and external audits and report the findings
- You initiate improvement projects and implement corrective and preventive measures
- You lead the quality department, with three colleagues in the measuring room and one welding coordinator
- You promote quality awareness throughout the entire organization
What we offer
- Salary between €4500 and €6000 per month, depending on your experience, according to CAO Metalektro (Groot-Metaal)

Who we are looking for
- A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in a technical direction
- Experience in technology; knowledge of metal processing is a plus
- You easily set priorities and motivate others
- You are positive, tenacious, structured, and analytical
- You know the laws and regulations regarding occupational health and safety and the environment
- You have knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and EN 1090
- You are familiar with statistical techniques and system management
- You speak Dutch and English fluently
