TGA Calculator (m/f/d)

Our client is an established, family-run company with around 100 employees. The company plans, realizes, and supports sophisticated technical systems for industrial, commercial, and private clients, and accompanies projects from planning through execution to subsequent service.

The range of services includes in particular heating, sanitary, ventilation, and cooling as well as solutions for water and wastewater treatment and renewable energies. The company is located in Herzberg am Harz, and projects are also realized regionally.

Tasks

We at VOLENTUM Personalberatung are looking for a TGA Calculator (m/f/d) on behalf of our client for a long-term and responsible role in the field of technical building equipment.

In this position, you will take on a central role in the economic evaluation and preparation of quotes for sophisticated technical building equipment projects.

Your tasks include in particular:

• Independent review and evaluation of tender and calculation documents

• Calculation of TGA projects and preparation of competitive offers

• Preparation and processing of supplementary offers during project execution

• Obtaining and evaluating prices from suppliers and subcontractors

• Coordination with purchasing, site management, project managers, and the Head of Calculation

• Participation in price, award, and supplementary negotiations, if required in the respective project

• Economic evaluation of projects, taking into account technical and commercial framework conditions

• Processing of both public and private tenders

You do not need to cover all TGA trades equally. In-depth knowledge in heating, sanitary, or cooling, for example, can provide a good foundation for starting. Missing knowledge in adjacent areas can be acquired within the company.

You will work in a well-established calculation team and report directly to the Head of Calculation.

Qualifications

For this position, we are looking for a personality who combines technical understanding with a keen eye for economic contexts.

Ideally, you will bring the following qualifications:

• Completed technical, trade, or commercial apprenticeship with a focus on technical building equipment

• For example, experience as an HVAC technician, HVAC master craftsman, or a commercial qualification with strong technical understanding

• At least two to three years of relevant professional experience in the TGA, SHK, HLS, or HKLS environment with a focus on calculation

• Experience in handling tender and calculation documents

• Knowledge in change order management

• Sound economic thinking and action

• Good MS Office skills

• Initiative, structured way of working, and teamwork skills
