Calibration Engineer (m/w/d)

At Dr. Födisch Umweltmesstechnik AG, we manufacture complex measuring devices that are tailored to specific customer needs. Our particulate matter measuring device, for example, is used to control the cleanliness of the air in large industrial facilities. Tasks

• Calibration of gases and creation of linearity charts and cross-sensitivity tables.
• Operating the existing calibration machine.
• Extended use of Excel.
• Customer-specific device calibration for gas analyzers (UV, IR).

Qualification

• Degree in technical field.
• Understanding of mathematical relationships and calculations.
• Prior knowledge of chemical fundamentals (chemical properties, theoretical foundations, acid-base calculation).
• Affinity for standardized process structures.
• Independent and self-motivated work, paired with team orientation and pleasure in detailed tasks.
• Safe German language skills (at least B2), as well as extended English language skills (at least B1).
