We founded QuantoLux GmbH in 2016 with a clear goal: to rethink optical emissions spectrometry (OES). In 2021, the QuantoLux Innovation GmbH joined, where our flagship product is born: the QLX9, a slag analysis device for the steel and metal industry.

The QLX9 analyzes slags in under 20 seconds without sample preparation. Companies worldwide use it to optimize processes, save resources, and replace technologies that have been standard for decades. We are a small, engaged team and growing. For the QLX9, we are looking for someone who builds the bridge between technology and application.

Aufgaben

The calibration is the heart of the QLX9. It decides whether a device functions correctly at the customer's site. As a calibrations and applications engineer, you are responsible for ensuring that our systems deliver correct results and are tailored to the specific requirements of each customer.

• Install, control, adjust, and optimize calibrations for the QLX9. In the medium term, also develop new calibrations for new application fields
• Expand existing calibrations to new materials and processes
• Support customers worldwide during installation and ongoing operation via remote service and on-site
• Quality assurance before delivery
• Interface between production, sales, and our customers

Qualifikation

No perfect background is required for this role. We have successful colleagues from physics, electrical engineering, chemistry, and mechanical engineering, as well as lateral entrants who simply wanted to get started.

Must have

• A sense of physical-chemical relationships
• Very good German language skills in writing and speaking (B2)
• Very good English language skills. Our customers and partners are worldwide distributed, English is working life

Nice to have

• Experience in spectroscopy, analytics, or laboratory technology
• Knowledge of metallurgy or materials analysis
• Programming knowledge
