Full Time Senior

Job description

Our Mission ⚖️

At Doctrine, we are building the leader in legal AI in Europe.

Our conviction? The law should not be slowed down by repetitive tasks. It should be augmented by specialized AI, designed to understand, analyze, and produce legal reasoning with a high level of rigor.

Our ambition? To enable legal professionals to gain reliability, efficiency, and peace of mind, thanks to a unique, comprehensive, and secure platform.

Today, 27,000 legal professionals, spread across five countries (France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Luxembourg), trust us.

Our development is guided by a clear approach: a global vision, rooted in a fine understanding of local specificities.

Behind this ambition, a team of about 250 people, united around the same objective: to support lawyers and legal professionals at every stage of their work, from analysis to drafting.

And we are just at the beginning.

The Context

We want to make law more accessible and understandable.
To do this, we are building products for legal professionals (lawyers and in-house counsel) to enable them to access all the legal information they need to best advise litigants.

Doctrine offers its subscribers the possibility to request court decisions that they have not found on the search engine.
Our intern's main mission is to autonomously process these requests thanks to their legal expertise.

In addition to this primary function, you will interact with the customer relations teams in the context of processing subscriber requests, you will be involved in daily and cutting-edge topics (management of pre-litigation and compliance, as well as research on AI law or personal data) and you will be asked to advise the product teams on Doctrine's evolution or its future features.

Your profile: You are looking for a 6-month internship. You have experience in legal information research, knowledge of French procedure and judicial institutions, and can demonstrate creativity when faced with a new situation. Ideally, you have expertise in digital law.

The Missions:
  • Responsibility for the court decision request service, in direct contact with the courts, clients, and any interested party (associations, press organizations, lawyers involved)
  • Management and response to pre-litigation requests related to personal data
  • Legal research and monitoring on current topics such as personal data protection, access to administrative documents, or the reuse of public information
  • Advising the sales and product teams (support for product development, legal research and monitoring)

  • The Ideal Profile 👀
  • Law studies at Master 2 level (specialized master's in digital law and/or intellectual property appreciated)
  • Proficiency in legal information search engines
  • Good communication skills (written and oral)
  • Proactive and organized
  • Autonomous and committed
  • Motivated by the idea of working in a rapidly evolving company
  • What awaits you if you join Doctrine 🤝

    • Contribute to an ambitious project with a real and positive impact on society: making law more accessible and open.
    • Very comprehensive onboarding enabling rapid integration and skill development.
    • An adventure where training and knowledge sharing are part of daily life.
    • Join a company with a rich and dynamic team life: conferences, team-building events, lunches, offsites, after-work drinks, etc.

    Our Values 🤝

At Doctrine, our 4 values guide us daily and in our ambition to make things happen.

    • Challenge the status quo: we defend bold ideas that contribute to the evolution of an entire sector.
    • Liberty and responsibility: we encourage autonomy, individual impact, and ownership.
    • Knowledge is power: information is at the heart of Doctrine's mission, and we constantly seek to improve.
    • Release early, release often and listen to your customers: we believe in the power of iteration and the importance of constantly listening to our market, our clients, and their challenges.
