For Gemeente Deventer, we are looking for a Jurist Leefomgeving.
You will work on various legal assignments within the physical domain and living environment, with the goal of delivering specific products within a period of approximately 12 months.

• You update the parking regulation and the corresponding decisions. By establishing new parking policy in 2026, there will be greater changes to the parking regulation and private law products. You ensure that these documents are ready by summer 2026, so they can go to college and council after recess.
• You finalize the Cooperation Agreement for the N377 with the province of Overijssel. This agreement will be closed in 2026.
• You conclude a purchase agreement with the province regarding the transfer of provincial road N766. Also, this agreement will be finalized in 2026.
• You provide legal support in the implementation of a Zero-emission zone in Deventer. You test decisions based on environmental law provisions related to this topic.
• You handle an arbitration case with a contractor regarding a dispute over the installation of a work of art. You attend the hearing and take care of the settlement of the ruling.

You determine yourself how you carry out your work and do not belong to the internal organization. You receive no work instructions and only decide on the products to be delivered. You discuss progress with designated contact persons; the execution takes place outside the organizational structure. You will be evaluated on the content quality and timely delivery of the agreed-upon products.
