Role: Junior Test Software Engineer- INDUSTRY


Location: Bologna

What you will do:


  • Perform functional and integration testing activities on complex software platforms in the retail sector
  • Verify the correct functioning of solutions in end-to-end scenarios, simulating real usage contexts
  • Analyze communication between systems (servers, devices, and applications) to ensure their reliability and stability
  • Collaborate in identifying, tracking, and resolving anomalies and bugs
  • Operate on heterogeneous environments (Linux, Windows Server, Android and Windows CE devices)
  • Support testing activities through tools and scripts (e.g., Python) and contribute to the continuous improvement of software quality.



Requirements:


  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Automation, Electronics, and/or related fields;
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows Server operating systems
  • Basic knowledge of the Python language
  • Analytical approach, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills


Salary range:


The gross annual salary for this role ranges from 25,000 EUR to 28,000 EUR. Placement within the range will be determined based on technical skills, specific experience in the role, and the outcomes of the selection process, according to objective and predefined criteria. For profiles with exceptional characteristics beyond the indicated range, a review may be considered subject to internal approval. The position is classified within the scope of the CCNL Commercio e Terziario applied by ALTEN.


The role includes the application of information security principles and compliance with company policies. It involves the secure management of credentials and tools, recognition of threats such as phishing, and reporting of any incidents. Training will be provided to support these activities.
