(Junior) Technical Writer / (Junior) Technischer Redakteur (m/w/d)

You love translating complex IT topics into clear and understandable language? Then support us in elevating our technical documentation to the next level! As part of our growing editorial team, you will work in a modern tool landscape (DITA, XML, Markdown) and ensure that our customers and colleagues always find the right answers.
Aufgaben
- Creation, maintenance, and further development of technical documentation (e.g. customer manuals, operation manuals, process and service documents) in close cooperation with departmental experts based on XML or Markdown
- Application of style guides, templates, and processes for content governance and versioning
- Support and troubleshooting of automated publication pipelines using tools like GitLab, DITA Open Toolkit, and REST APIs
- Surety of consistent, auditable, and compliance-conforming documentation
- Ongoing optimization of documentation processes and co-shaping the future of KI-supported editing
Qualifikation
- Degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, Communication, Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Professional experience as a technical writer, ideally in an IT or infrastructure environment
- Ideal knowledge of XML, Markdown, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and document workflows
- Experience with KI-supported content workflows and a strong interest in actively developing them further
- Structured, precise, and self-reliant working style, as well as a hands-on mentality
- Strong communication skills and willingness to cooperate, especially when conveying technical information between IT, departmental experts, and management
- Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking
