Junior Sommelier (m/w/d)

The INTERALPEN-HOTEL TYROL, a luxurious 5-star superior hotel, is located in the midst of the Tyrolean mountain world on the Seefelder Hochplateau. The hotel counts among Preferred Hotels & Resorts and features 274 spacious rooms and suites. The kitchen of the Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol, awarded by Gault&Millau 2024 with 13 points and two hats for the Á la carte-Restaurant and 17.5 points and 4 hats for the Chef's Table, offers locally inspired culinary delights in various restaurant rooms, one wine cellar and a champagne bar. The hotel's wine list features over 500 labels from around the world, including rare vintages and exclusive wines. Our sommeliers are trained to provide expert advice on wine selection and pairing. We are looking for a Junior Sommelier (m/w/d) who is passionate about wine and has excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate should have experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel or restaurant environment. Knowledge of wine production, wine regions, and wine styles is essential. A degree in oenology or a related field would be an advantage. We offer a comprehensive training program for our Junior Sommeliers, which includes courses on wine tasting, wine pairing, and wine service. A valid driving license would be an advantage.
