(Junior) Solutions Engineer

As (Junior) Solutions Engineer, you'll help your colleagues around the world solve the most complex technical customer questions and work closely with colleagues from product development and proposition management to realize structural solutions.

Milking
Lely has very innovative solutions for dairy farmers, such as the milk robot, automatic feeding systems, and technical aids for animal health. Our team is responsible for the solutions that fall within the Milking portfolio. This means we spend most of our time on our milk robot, the 'Astronaut'.

Your responsibilities:

• You'll solve complex technical problems that a technician and regional clusters can't solve. It involves a broad range of technical issues, with extra focus on the hardware in our products and the related consumables for the robot, such as cleaning or maintenance products. You'll work on tickets in our service portal, and after a thorough onboarding period, you'll also participate in our 24/7 hotline support.
• You're responsible for developing knowledge and expertise at various Lely locations worldwide. We do this as a team by developing documentation, training, and uniform tools.
• Within Lely, our team is the voice of the farmer and technician for the further development of hardware, software, and electronics in the robot. We perform data analyses, identify trends in the field that are important for improvement and further development of the milk robot, and have contact with the different regions where Lely is active. In addition to operational core activities, you'll also focus on improving processes.
• We ensure through setting up premises and validation that new solutions meet the high standards of a Lely product. For this, we work together with colleagues from, among others, product development and proposition management. You're the point of contact for - and participate in - various projects to achieve this.
