(Junior) Software Developer / (Junior) Embedded Engineer (m/w/d)

Aufgaben

• Step-by-Step Onboarding: You start with a comprehensive introduction to the existing software architecture and learn the programming language Ada from experienced colleagues.
• Support in the Team: Together with your team members, you implement new software requirements for exciting Defence projects.
• Clean Coding: You learn to apply special coding guidelines and ensure reliable code coverage (test coverage).
• Integration & Testing: You integrate your developed software components independently into the overall system and perform module and system tests.
• Dokumentation: You support the team in technical documentation and proof of compliance for future system acceptance.

Qualifikation

• Educational Background: Successfully completed studies (Bachelor, Master) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable field.
• Linux Foundation: First-hand practical experience with Linux operating systems (ideally RedHat, SUSE), for example from your studies, internships, or private projects.
• Programming Fundamentals: Theoretical knowledge in object-oriented software development and UML that you bring from your studies.
• Learning Readiness: You have a willingness to learn a new, specialized programming language (Ada). Prior experience with Ada is not required. Ideally, you bring first-hand experience in (object-oriented) programming with C/C++.
• Work Style: You work well in a team, communicate openly, and take on tasks proactively.
• Languages: As you will be working in an international project environment, you communicate confidently in German and English.
