Junior Software Engineer (m/f/d) — AI-powered Development

With Gymcubator, we have developed our own product: an AI platform for fitness studios that communicates with members via WhatsApp and email, manages bookings and inquiries, and supports studio teams in their daily work. Dozens of studios are already using the system daily in production – and this is exactly where you come in: we are looking for reinforcements for the further development of Gymcubator.

Your Role:

You start where one truly gets to know a product: with new customer onboarding, in production support, and when fixing errors. You will work directly with the founder and grow step-by-step into a full-fledged developer role.

We use AI agents in all phases of development. You will not only learn to write code quickly with AI – you will ultimately truly understand how distributed systems are built and operated in production: modern architectures, cloud, CI/CD, and agent-based systems.

Your Tasks:

• Onboard new fitness studios: setup, configuration, integrations

• Automate recurring tasks in onboarding and make the process scalable step-by-step

• Production Support: investigate and resolve issues with code, logs, and data

• Implement, test, and release bug fixes and small features

• Contribute to cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline: deployments, Kubernetes, monitoring

• Learn to control AI agents and critically review generated code

• With growing experience: independent development of features

Who we are looking for

• Graduate (Bachelor/Master in Computer Science or similar) or comparable education with a strong portfolio

• Solid programming foundations; university, internship, or private projects count

• Diligence, curiosity, and openness to feedback

• Fluent German (our clients are German fitness studios), good English
  

Our stack: Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, LangGraph, React, TypeScript, Twilio, Kubernetes — prior experience with these is not required.
