Job Description

We Are Looking for an International Leading Logistics and Warehousing Company to Strengthen Its Security Operations Center (SOC). In This Position, You Will Take on a Central Role in Building, Operating, and Developing the SOC and Make a Significant Contribution to the Global IT and Cyber-Security Strategy.

Tasks

As Junior SOC Analyst / IT-Security Specialist (m/w/d), You Will Support the Building, Operation, and Development of the Security Operations Center (SOC). In This Process, You Will Learn Step by Step How to Recognize, Analyze, and Professionally Handle Security Events.

• Participation in Building, Operating, and Developing the Security Operations Center (SOC)
• Support for Operating and Optimizing SIEM-, EDR- and Security-Monitoring Systems
• Analyzing and Initial Evaluation of Security Events and Incidents Together with Experienced Colleagues
• Participation in Incident Response Measures
• Support for Developing and Automating SOC Processes and Workflows
• Participation in Improving Detection-, Monitoring- and Response-Procedures
• Closely Cooperate with Corporate IT-Security and International IT Teams
• Support for IT-Security Projects

Qualification

• Degree in Computer Science, IT Security or Comparable Education – Preferably Also Entry-Level Professionals
• First Knowledge or Strong Interest in IT-Security, Networks and Systems, E.G. from Studies, Projects or Internships
• Basic Understanding of Networks, Operating Systems and IT Architectures
• First Experience with SIEM-, EDR- or Monitoring Tools Is Advantageous but Not Mandatory
• Basic Knowledge in Scripting (E.G. Python) Is Desirable
• Analytical, Structured and Self-Motivated Work Style
• Good Communication Skills and Teamwork Ability
• Very Good German and English Language Skills
