JUNIOR SIGNALLING ENGINEER


Overview

ATM, in the context of the implementation of the new strategic plan, with a view to continuous service improvement and with the aim of strengthening the Infrastructure Engineering Directorate, is seeking a Junior Signalling Engineer profile to be integrated into the Automation and Supervision Systems Design Area.


Main Activities

  • Support for the technical management of control and automation equipment in the railway sector (ATC (DTG and CBTC technology), ACS, ATS and PAB);
  • Support for the management and verification of main communication protocols and networks;
  • Drafting of technical documents (tender specifications, drawings, technical specifications);
  • Support for operational coordination of interface activities between subsystems of interest;
  • Support for the analysis and assessment of the impact and risks of changes to railway systems based on the change management process in compliance with Regulation (EU) 402/2013;
  • Ensure identification, analysis, and traceability of requirements related to signalling subsystems;
  • Conduct advanced analysis and debugging of system faults, with particular reference to ATC, ACS, ATS, and PAB platforms;
  • Technical support for maintenance, testing, and purchasing departments;
  • Acquire skills in the field of test engineering, software engineering, and support for Verification and Validation processes;
  • Support for the production of training materials to support classroom training phases.


Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Engineering with a specialization in Electrical Engineering, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil, Telecommunications, Computer Science;
  • Courses and master's degrees in industrial automation.


Profile Completes

  • Overall vision and ability to synthesize and draft reports;
  • Problem-solving attitude;
  • Good interpersonal skills and team player attitude;
  • Organizational skills, proactivity, flexibility, and ability to work independently and on multiple activities in parallel;
  • Good written and oral communication skills.


What We Offer

The employment relationship will be governed by R.D. 148/1931 and the National Collective Bargaining Agreement for Public Transport Workers (CCNL Autoferrotranvieri). The salary for the position ranges from €30,000 to €40,000.

The specific compensation will depend on the evaluation of the profile against the position requirements.

Possession of the requirements referred to in art. 1 or belonging to the protected categories referred to in art. 18 of law 68/99 shall also constitute preferential qualifications.
